Christine Kozina Born: October 5, 1950 Died: June 25, 2024 Christine Kozina, age 73, of Woodstock, Illinois passed away on Tuesday, June 25, 2024 at her home with family at her side. She was born October 5, 1950 in Germany to Maria and Bruno Kozina. Chris moved to the United States with her family in the mid-1950s. They first resided in Detroit and then in Chicago and Park Ridge. In 1984 Chris moved to Woodstock where she would make her home. Chris received her Bachelor's in Education from SIU. She taught physical education in Chicago high schools for several years. She took a break from teaching to raise her two daughters. When she was ready to return to the workforce, she took a different path and worked in HR at ALP for 26 years. Chris retired two years ago from ALP but being the go-getter she was, she decided to go back to the classroom and start subbing. Chris was always active.
