Theodore "Ted" Trzaskowski, 84, of Spring Grove, passed away Friday, June 28, 2024.
Ted was born on June 9, 1940, in Chicago, to Theodore and Rita (Devitt) Trzaskowski. He was a graduate of Gordon Tech High School class of 1958. He was drafted by the United States Army in 1963 and was honorably discharged in 1965. On July 25, 1964, he married Dolores Gozdal, together they shared 57 years.
Ted was a union ironworker and Business Agent, where he was a proud member of Ironworkers Local 1 Chicago, he retired in July 2005. He was a long-time resident of Arlington Heights before moving to Spring Grove where he has lived for the past 20 years. Ted was very giving of his time to the community and church, he served on the Board of Trustees for Richmond-Burton Township; Lake County Building Trades Council; and on his Homeowner's Association. He was an active member of St. Peter's Catholic Church in Spring Grove where he could often be found working as an usher, serving at the spaghetti dinner,
