Johnson, 85, of Cuba City, Wisconsin, died Saturday, August 10, 2024, at Edenbrook of Platteville. Services will be held at a later date. Casey-McNett Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Cuba City is assisting the family. Albert was born on June 20, 1939, in Elmhurst, Illinois, the son of Merton and Margaret (Butts) Johnson. He graduated from Alden-Hebron High School in 1957. Albert joined the military where he worked in communications. During his service in the army he met his wife, Mary Wiederhold. They were married in Fort Gordon, Georgia, on April 26, 1963. Albert went to the National School of Meat Cutting in Toledo, Ohio, and worked for several different companies including Stairs in Galena and Eagles. Albert enjoyed fishing in his younger years and traveling to the north woods to visit family. He loved going to Edgewater in Florida where they spent many winters. Alb
