Charlotte Hunter-Brown, 91, of Huntley, died peacefully on August 17, 2024.
Charlotte was born February 17, 1933 in Chicago, IL, the daughter of David and Gertrude (Cantwell) Brown. Charlotte was truly a one-of-a-kind lady who lived a long, full life. She enjoyed traveling abroad, collecting antiques, dressing up and handing out treats on Halloween, and attending local music and theater productions. Charlotte was an avid and ongoing learner. She was very proud of being double promoted in grade school. After attending college at the University of Illinois, she would continue to take classes at local community colleges. Perhaps her greatest joy in life was spending time with her grand and great grandchildren.
She is survived by her children, James and Jennifer, by her grandchildren, Katelyn, Lauren, Audrey, and Stella, and by her great grandchildren, Hunter, Margot, Henry, and Archer. Charlotte is also survived by her siblings, David Brown (Mary Streich) and Gwenn Pobanz, and by many ni
