Peggy Joyce LeMay peacefully passed away in her home in Burnsville, MN, on August 21, 2024, at the age of 96, surrounded by her loved ones. Born on March 24, 1928, in Rayville LA, she was the fifth daughter to Orbin and Bessie Moffett.
Peggy grew up in Louisiana on her family farm, one of 10 children. She worked as a small-town waitress. One day, she made a bet with her sister to say "Hello" to an Army soldier. That Army soldier turned into the love of her life. They married on March 22, 1945, in Lincoln Parish, LA. The pair moved to Duluth MN. and started their family of four. Peggy enjoyed baking, gardening, all animals, especially her dogs, but most of all her family. Peggy and Warren enjoyed 74 years of marriage and friendship together in their home in Trevor, WI. She was hardworking and a very loving woman who had such an appreciation for life. She lives on in so many of our memories and that will be cherished forever.
