Lojan Eve LaRowe Born: April 7, 1945 Died: March 6, 2025 Lojan Eve LaRowe, aged 79, passed away on March 6, 2025 from breast cancer, in McHenry IL. Lojan was born on April 7, 1945 in Elyris, Ohio. She is survived by her husband, Clark Barshinger; sister, Janel Gillis; and brother, Dorian LaRowe. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jane Vandergraft- Larowe and Elrow LaRowe. Lojan dedicated much of her life to the field of psychology and education, profoundly impacting those around her through her works and teachings. Lojan's career was marked by significant contributions to mental health and education. She served as a psychologist and co-founder of Cherry Hill Counseling Center in Lake Zurich, IL for over 35 years. Earlier in her career, she taught Jr. High English literature in Deerfield, IL, and was a college psychology counselor and instructor at Trinity College in Deerfield, IL.
