Lona Patzke Born: January 10, 1935 in Chicago, IL Died: March 22, 2025 in Algonquin, IL Lona M. Patzke (nee Nowak) of McHenry, Illinois, died on March 22nd, 2025 at Clarendale Hospice in Algonquin, Illinois after a short illness. Born on January 10th, 1935 in Chicago, she was the daughter of George and Mildred (Krucek) Nowak. In her early years she moved with her family to Pistakee Bay and attended St. John the Baptist Grade School and McHenry Community High School. She married James C. Patzke in 1954; together they had three daughters who survive, Sandy (Kevin) Summers of McHenry Illinois, Cheri (John) Doessel of Lake Geneva, Wisconsin and Cindy (Scott) Malanowski of Palmyra, Tennessee. She is also survived by Grandchildren John (Chloe) Doessel, Kelley (James) Bingham, Taylor Hamil, and Scottie (Bri) Malanowski; Great Grandchildren Madison Summers, John, Elle and Emily Doessel, and Jimmy, Oliver and Raegan Bingham.
