It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Robert "Bob" John Westphal of Hillside, IL. who passed away on March 20, 2025 surrounded by his children. Bob was born on January 30, 1954, to Loren and Dorothy Westphal.
Bob's legacy is one of strength, both inside and out, in part forged through his long career in construction. He had a passion for the outdoors and fishing, a love that shaped many of his happiest moments and made Hayward, WI a special place for him and his family. Bob enjoyed life's simple pleasures: a good sunset, a warm evening in the garage with music, a steak on the grill, watching sports, and attending concerts. He embraced the spirit of competition and found joy and friendship around a pool table, at a bowling alley, on the softball field, or at a dart board. Bob had a natural green thumb, and he took great joy in sharing his harvests with those he cared about most.
